We leave the lodge in the northern half of the Pantanal and head to the end of the road. We are taken by speedboat to a hotel boat, where we are taken around and fed for three days. From the boat, we head out into the river arms and tributaries, where we mainly hope to see jaguars. We already see the first one today. There are also many birds, of course.
